Add support for varicaps / variable capacitor diodes (radio circuits)
Add support for varicaps / variable capacitor diodes. These are important components in radio circuits for example. They make FM modulation easy.

Zener diodes appear to be limited to 25 volts. I need at least 60 volts in a power supply I am trying to model.
My power supply in an old oscilloscope I am restoring has a zener at 56 volts and and another at 30. Since the zeners appear to be limited to 25 volts, the simulation does not operate correctly.

Circuit error
When you increase voltage too much the circuit should break and shows an error, this will make it more realistic

Redesign the photoresistor to be sensitive to the LED and LAMP components
Ok, as an audio engineer I would REALLY love to see the photoresistor have real world functionality. Maybe make it so that when you drag a lamp or LED near it, an option appears to couple the two together into either a VACTROL or an OPTOCOUPLER, at which point it would function like a subcircuit or black box element. Ports would become available for the light source connections as well as + and - from the photoresistor. And it would be assumed to be inside a light-tight box so that only the light from the light source (again, this would…

Fix the diode bug
On several projects voltages go all over the place if a diode is introduced.
I sent a sample buggy diode to support and got a blissful silence in response.9 votes -
update on windows version
For example on the iPad version we already have speaker and can make noise, but in the windows version it still is "initial release" (is around year 2013?) so need some update

Add more components, esp. sensors!
There are many missing comments. Obviously you cannot support every IC, but supporting sensors would be reasonable. Most sensors have predictable behavior (at least theoretically) based on the amount or intensity of something (e.g. Hall effect and magnetic force, CO2 detectors, photoresistor, ECG, IR ToF range finders, pulse oximetry, accelerometers (including the 9 dimensional cards—I have one that also includes a barometer for elevation monitoring). Is a confusing jungle of prebuilt components that use SPI or I2C to communicate w/ an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc. but some really cool stuff for building IoT, robotics, etc.
Being able to add some…

More symbols.
- add more symbols.
- Give us the option to create our own symbols.

Add a blank component that you can modify yourself
Adding a blank component to every category would be nice where we can insert our values as opposed to waiting for an update. All components run on equations that determine the type of component it is. Adding a blank one would be easy to add the values we need as they become more available.

Allow specifying which side of the sub-circuit a port is on
It would be extremely convenient if ports had an option of specifying which side of the box the wire is on (ie to separate inputs from outputs). For example, I am making a 3-bit counter with two inputs and three outputs. However, because iCircuit tries to balance the sides, it puts both inputs and one of the outputs on the left side and two of the outputs on the right side. This is extremely frustrating. If possible, I'd like to even be able to put ports on the top/bottom of the sub-circuit box.
