If you push R for resistor... pushing R a second time would rotate the resistor
Shortcut keys are helpful, but rotating components in a PITA
Pushing the shortcut key a second time could rotate it

Using LM78xx input current must be equal to output current
When using voltage regulators LM78xx (great idea), I observe than intput current is set to cero, while output current works according output circuit.
Could be possible set input current equal to output current? This is a good aproximation (input might be output current plus a inner consumption).8 votes -
Set Vbe on BJTs
We need more control over the transistor's parameters.

Overload and Overcurrent devices
Maybe add some overcurrent and overload devices such as fuses, circuit breakers, GFCIs, AFCIs, and surge arrestors. Safety is always important!

Schematic layout
This might involve a total redesign of the app, but I think it would be really useful to have a feature that allows you to build a circuit as a schematic diagram like this: http://www.appliance-repair-it.com/images/simpledryer.jpg
Or as a wiring diagram as it is now. Schematic diagrams make it a lot easier to trace the order of operations in the circuit.8 votes -
Allow specifying which side of the sub-circuit a port is on
It would be extremely convenient if ports had an option of specifying which side of the box the wire is on (ie to separate inputs from outputs). For example, I am making a 3-bit counter with two inputs and three outputs. However, because iCircuit tries to balance the sides, it puts both inputs and one of the outputs on the left side and two of the outputs on the right side. This is extremely frustrating. If possible, I'd like to even be able to put ports on the top/bottom of the sub-circuit box.

Let the user scroll so the element doesn't move if your finger is placed over that element when you start to scroll the screen.
Right now, if you go to scroll and your finger is on an element when you start the scroll, the element moves with it. Add an update that allows a scroll and doesn't move the element with it. It's annoying when you are trying to scroll and elements move with your finger when you swipe
10 votesI am going to change the logic so that only selected elements will move. This should make it easier.

Maybe option to choose op-amp type ?
I'm not sure about this one and I may be running into the limits of the program. I tried making a triangle-square wave generator using 3 op-amps - op1 is integrator with 100nf feedback, op2 is comparator with positive feedback (a voltage divider or a pot), and op3 is an inverter with output back to the input of op1. All resistors are 10kohm. 15V is assumed for all op-amps. I should be getting a triangle at op1 out and square wave at the other two. I'm not seeing this at all on the scope. Maybe the op-amp is 'too perfect'…

Option to view ic's in a view that looks like the actual chip.
I prefer to see ic chips like you'd see on A bread board. With the pins around the perimeter. For example on an 8 pin chip there are 4 pins on one side and 4 on the other.
9 votesThis is the style I’m moving the chips to, but have some backwards compatibility issues for changing existing components. I will look at setting them to their DIP packages.

Ability to express wires or connections as variables. Not have to define everything with a value.
This would allow for people to see different voltages or currents at a point as an expression of the wires and sources involved.
3 votesHave you seen the dependent voltage and current sources? These allow arbitrary expressions.

Please add more component ....other wise use les this app and wasting our money
I am sorry to say this, I am really unhappy with this app, because of without more components this app is use less and money wasting... no cotactor, stepper motor servo motor, many more. Please don’t mis use others money.

Problem with scope on iOS - can’t dismiss settings pop up
It I bring up the scope settings box ( (i) in upper right of screen) there is no way to dismiss it without exiting the app. It just stays on screen superimposed on the scope itself. Is there a way to dismiss it that’s not obvious?

Automatically simplify hanging connections when deleting components
To make it easier to modify circuits it would be very useful for hanging hanging connections to be deleted along with components,
