    LM317 comes in a few variants (B/T/BT etc)... specifically a lower current version that has a (Out->Adj) Vref of 1.2v and a higher current version that has a Vref of 1.3v. I cannot tell which version you've intended to implement. Obviously, the difference affects the dynamics of the circuit. I think this is why a request for a LM317T (which is not the same as LM317).
