commentedThe only thing that keeps iCircuit from being the only simulation tool that I use is the lack of components and the inability to adjust the component parameters to fit the circuit I’m working on.
(BTW, ever thought of adding an enhancement mode configuration for your MOSFET model, or a mode where that transistor can operate in it’s saturation region so that it can be used as a switch?)

commentedI think this is already done...my circuits are saved to my iCloud account and when need switch iPads, or even when using my Mac, my circuits are available across all platforms...

commented7474 preset and clear don’t work properly. There’s no way to clear the flip-flop...preset = 0 and clear =1 doesn’t set q to 0 (both are active low. Also, both preset and clear = 0 should set both q and q’ (=1) on the 7474... Colin Reynolds

commentedYou can change this in general settings (BTW, by default, iCircuit shows conventional current flow, which is the standard in engineering...).

commentedI design variants of the circuit you describe pretty regularly and iCircuit works quite for most of them (it can get finicky when you put diodes in the feedback loop). One thing that the model has a problem with is that it behaves like an ideal op amp, with no input offset voltage or bias currents so some oscillator types require a small series voltage at one of the inputs to help run the comparator output to one of the supply rails...

As an incentive, you could make this feature an in-app purchase...I’m sure most of us would be willing to pay for an enhancement such as this
