  1. Fix potential bug with capacitors

    I made an astable multivibrator following an example online. When I set it up initially it works fine but if I save and return to the circuit it does not work unless I remove a component and replace it.

    Here is a link to the circuit like the one I copied (see below). To reproduce the error, make a working circuit (LEDs should blink alternating) then exit to iCircuit's main menu and return to the same circuit. It no longer functions the same way. Now cut one of the capacitors and paste it back in. The circuit will work again…

  2. Add the option to toggle power pins on and off.

    Add the option to toggle power pins on and off for specific uses (power decoupling for noise control). I sometimes need to make specific connections to the power pins for op-amps in particular. I'd like to be able to do that in iCircuit.

  4. Would be great simply to have more draw options

    I need it to label my circuts the the tools in circuit are very limited.
    I need to resize the text box freely, put some terminals with free numbering. etc.

    Certain devices, for example transistors, have different models, specified by their model numbers, and each has different parameters.

  9. Since you have a plan to add ic chips to show as chips, can you let us create custom chips?

    Have a "custom chip" that allows us to design a circuit to put in the chip, then, show the chip as an IC in our main circuit. If we click on the chip like we are going to change the settings it shows our sub-circuit that is in the chip so we can edit it. Include a back arrow on the sub-circuit for when we want to go back to the main circuit. You can limit which components we can put in the custom chip if it gets too complex to do the simulation.   10. Moving Components Only

    Currently moving a component drags the circuit along as well. If we could touch and hold to lift the component out of the circuit before dragging, leaving the circuit in place with an open.

  12. Programmable PIC

    It would be amazing if you could add PIC and make us able to program them for simulation and testing just like the in multisim, for example "PIC16F84A".

  14. Add touch interface elements to library

    For example add buttons and sliders that show on screen and can be used to effect change in a circuit. Sliders can vary the voltage output or frequency of a source, buttons can be used to toggle things like switches, etc.

    This could allow for some really cool circuits and would provide an analogue to real world push buttons and sliders/rotary dials.

    The only issue I see with this would be determining whether the user is try to push the button or select it, perhaps make them so that they can only be selected by selection box?

  16. Add the option to switch between electron and conventional flow.

    As an Australian user of this app, I work with electron flow making some of the out come of my circuits a little confusing. Knowing that most components, such as diodes and transistors are visually in conventional flow in symbol form. To be able to switch to electron flow (negative to positive) could be a good addition to this app, making it easier for some or even experimental to observe the out come. So far the app is great and useful in my studies, thank you for developing this.

  17. More interfaces and converter.

    I wish i could convert and show binary as hex and dezimal values.
    Or look what data was send on a serial or parallel interface.

    Could you make some more complex converters and bus systems and IC's ?

  18. Make elements library more customizable

    Users should be able to add custom elements to any existing category of elements and create new categories. Also, key shortcuts should be customizable. For example, if a user uses digital elements more than analog elements, they might change 'A' to map to an AND gate rather than an AC source, or 'C' to a square-wave source (like a clock).

    I dont know if Icircuit has it ?, but
    in Every circuit, you can for eks, change
    resistor in realtime,observing LED gets
    brighter.
    Allso some improving with the graphics layout, component!
    ohms low / circle etc..

  20. iCircuit for Mac OS X should Open .CIR files it creates

    Version 1.7 of iCircuit for Mac OS X lets you save a circuit as a .CIR file only. But it will not open them again. Examples at the iCircuit website are also in .CIR format and iCircuit won't open them, complaining that it cannot open files in MacSpice Source files.
