Ensure component names don't interfere with circuit lines
Reversing the orientation of a transistor which has a name can result in the base line being overwritten by the name.
The component name should also flip with the device orientation - e.g. in this example to keep the name on the E-C side.

Allow 'GAUGE' to display meter-style functionality
The Circuit > Gauge option displays an instantaneous value.
This is almost useless in e.g. AC circuits.
It would be great if this had options like a true meter to be e.g. TRUE RMS, AVGE, MAX/MIN HOLD

Enable 'Preferences' to allow defaults for various attributes
‘Preferences’ appears to be inactive.
Things like ‘paper’ colour, grid and size could very usefully be set in Preferences

Modify your user feedback and question site to have a link back to your site.
I am on an iPad Pro using Chrome. I cannot find a link from User Voice to the rest of your website, home page etc.

Add more components, esp. sensors!
There are many missing comments. Obviously you cannot support every IC, but supporting sensors would be reasonable. Most sensors have predictable behavior (at least theoretically) based on the amount or intensity of something (e.g. Hall effect and magnetic force, CO2 detectors, photoresistor, ECG, IR ToF range finders, pulse oximetry, accelerometers (including the 9 dimensional cards—I have one that also includes a barometer for elevation monitoring). Is a confusing jungle of prebuilt components that use SPI or I2C to communicate w/ an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc. but some really cool stuff for building IoT, robotics, etc.
Being able to add some…

Continue the simulation where it left off
When pausing the simulation and restarting it always seems to start at t=0. I would really like to be able to pause and resume from where I was. (Sometimes I slow down AC supply to 1 Hz or less, to watch the circuit performance at positive and negative voltages, but when I restart the simulation I need to wait for it to go through the entire cycle again instead of just continuing.

Transmission line simulation
Would be cool if you'd implement transmission lines with their proper wave characteristics like wave impedance and so on

Random noise generator
A new source with white and/or band limited noise. Would be nice if it could be tied to the scope frequency display for bandwidth estimates.

iPad Apple Pencil/finger interaction
It would be great if iPad page panning could be set as solely reserved for the finger and wire drawing reserved solely for the Apple Pencil.
Apple Notes is a good example of separating both the finger and Apple Pencil as different tools for different operations, reducing the need for a dedicated drawing button.
This would be amazing for simultaneous drawing and panning, while also preventing accidental component/wire movement when finger panning (without the need to lock components).
Auto Dark Mode (depending on iPad system settings) would be an added bonus.
Thank you, love the app

Adding Octocouplers in the future
it would be nice if Octocouplers was an option to select in the design. Other than that, so far it is a great product

Increase 7 segment display
Aloe 7 segment display so that we can have more than one digit and allow us to have up to a 6 digit 7 segment display. This would allow me to test designs with my larger display so that I would not have to do it with a singe display per number

Add laser diodes with adjustable wavelengths...maybe some optical elements like variable reflective mirrors. To build quantum circuits.
To have the ability to perform laser experiments and count photons using a CCD chip so that photon counts could be measured. Experiments in simple quantum circuits using the KLM protocol. Search quantum circuits with Arduino.

A variant of the supply rail which is just a named net connector
A way to connect multiple points without explicit wires, but named connections to “nodes”. A floating circuit can’t use ground... It does have to get a reference potential, but floating gate drivers, or isolated i2c. These need a “chassis connection” that is not ground. Generalizing this notion to a named node, looks like a supply bus.

Increase the maximum size of the layout canvas to larger than 8192x8192
I have a digital circuit which will not fit on the length of the current circuit layout canvas. If the size could be doubled, this would be great, even better make the canvas/layout size to be virtually unlimited would be even better - say 32768x32768.

Be able to set phase from 0 to 360?
Would it be possible to be able to set phase to from 0 to 360 degrees? At the moment, we can only from 0 to 180. And,, A multi phase AC motor, say from one to three phases? Great App, thank you.

Could you add frequency as an element in expressions
Could you add frequency as an element in expressions. It would be useful in AF and RF circuits. Tie it to the AC source frequency so that expression values are updated on adjustment. I find iCircuit an exceptional tool on IOS!
Example
ElementName.ValueName
as for AC source
VIN.Vd (AC source voltage)
VIN.f ( AC source frequency)1 vote
