  1. Allow user to define custom variables in subcircuits

    At the moment the only way to influence a sub circuit is by its ports, as far as I can see. It would be useful if the user could flag certain component parameters as variables that could be adjusted from outside the 'black box'.

    For example, I have two Wien Bridge oscillators that I want to output signals of different frequencies so that I can combine them into a composite signal. I set up the oscillator as a sub circuit with voltage In and Out ports, but at the moment they both have the same frequency because they are both…

  2. Operational Transconductance Amplifier

    How about an OTA simulation as per the CA3080 or LM13700. This would be handy for those trying to simulate voltage controlled circuitry.

  3. OCR image of schematic layout auto create

    I would love to be able to take a photo or image of a schematic and have icircuit auto recreate as much of it as possible, even the help of most of the layout but open components would be of great help.

  4. to correct the function of relais, should be a difference in leading current depending whether it's open or closed...

    see above, now no difference in relay-switches in simulating circuits

  5. Import a background (so yo can edit a drawing by overwriting parts of it)

    Import a background (pdf, jpeg, ....) You draw a blank 'square ' over the things you what to erase, and then draw what you want to change.

  6. Export scope data from ios app for additional offline analysis

    This would be useful for doing more analysis and is available in the Mac app. Output to csv and allow saving to dropbox, icloud, or email.

  7. Support for external device inputs

    Inputs such as the microphone or camera of the device running icircuit.
    Possible future inputs from usb/bluetooth etc.

  8. Transformer with negative coupling coefficient, please.

    In order to draw Flyback converters in a ordinary way, it is necessary that the polarity of the transformer windings is inverted. Mathematicaly this can be obtained with a negative coupling coefficient, that it is not included in the transformer model currently used.

  9. Add options of BS 3939 Logic symbols

    Though there is a switch for IEC symbol, but logic symbols are always DIN. For inputs more than 3, obviously BS 3939 or IEC symbols are better for layout and readability.

  11. Please integrate vacuum tubes!!

    I would love to see vacuum tubes integrated into this app. I build electric guitar amplifiers and if a guitar amp is of any quality then it has tubes in it. This would be a great tool for me when I am protoyping a new amp design. However I can't use it because it doesn't have tubes incorporated into it, Which are essential. Main tubes that are used are 6V6, 6L6, EL84 EL34, 12Ax7, 12AT7, 6550, ECC83, 5881, KT66, 5Y3

  12. give the user the ability to upload his work onto a cloud server

    Sometimes you change from devices and cant take the work you have done over to the next device. Therefore I think it well if there is support for both android and apple to upload to each other

  17. The Ability to Rotate SPST Push Switch.

    You can pretty much rotate ever component by dragging the connections around, except for the SPST Push Switch. Is there a reason for this?

  19. Include supply lines for op amps. It's useful to be able to turn them on and off in some circuit designs.
