  1. 1/4 inch 1/8th inch TRS & XLR m\f connections

Input and output use o all three types both male and female input output connections. Also the use of a (QC) quick connect male and female could make further use of the software for full circuit layouts.

  2. Could not Launch iCircuit

When I try to open iCircuit on Mac OS X, I get a prompt telling me that my computer cannot find the executable ‘iCircuit.exe.’ I found a solution previously, but I cannot find it anymore. Anyone know the fix? Thanks!

  3. Graph functional effect of changing parameters: e.g. change of resistance -> change of current

Currently, the graph visualizes measured parameters in the circuit.

For educational purposes it would be great to learn about functional relationships between measures under change.

E.g. visually show that Ohm law is linear -- change of resistance causes a proportional change in current.

I believe that such an addition can greatly enhance the educational experience by allowing to quickly view how alternative circuits relate

  6. Theme selection is neither global nor circuit persistent setting

Theme selection is not saved in circuit document, despite being indicated as a document change when switching. Documents are always loaded with "white" theme on macOS.
I'd still prefer theme to be global (user) persistent setting, not circuit setting, e.g. switchable by View > Theme to maintain content vs presentation separation.

  7. Clicking on oscilloscope should reveal its properties

Currently to reach oscilloscope properties I need to click Oscilloscope switch button which is very confusing and cumbersome. It would be much easier if I clicking on oscilloscope would switch to its properties. And consistently clicking on empty circuit region should always show circuit properties. Right now this happens only when some component is selected, and then it gets deselected.

  8. Simulator start/restart and pause keyboard shortcuts

Please add keyboard (and menu) shortcuts to start/restart and pause simulation. Ideally Cmd+R to start/restart, Space to pause/unpause - replacing Edit mode which could be switched by Escape instead.

  12. Flip should NOT be the same as rotate

There's a button to "flip" a component, but in some cases it just rotates the component, for example relays, and in other cases it actually gets a symmetric flip in one single direction, so you can't actually perform a true rotation, for example transistors. In some cases this makes imposible to get the desired orientation or rotation.

  13. Enable selection of both "Must Operate" and "Must Release" voltages for Configurable Relay component

The Configurable Relay component currently has a fixed operating voltage around 75% of the specified Coil Voltage. The same voltage applies to both Operate and Release transitions.

However, most small relays have different "Must Operate" and "Must Release" voltages. Typically around 75% and 15% respectively of the rated Coil Voltage

Some circuits can't be properly simulated in iCircuit because there's no way to select the "Must Operate" and "Must Release" voltages.

It would be desirable to enable an option to do so.

During the use of the software, Android R could not display the folder, and did not adapt to the full screen, resulting in a bad experience.

  18. Problem simulating the "mic" and "speaker" on iPad pro (ios16.2)

iPad specs: iPad pro "M2" chip running on IOS 16.2

I want to design some guitar pedals on the go and test it using the mic/AC source and the speaker, someone please help.
*Btw, I have adjusted the bandwidth and same results

    -Mic issue-
When I use the mic and connect it directly to the speaker it works just fine, but the second I place another component or for example an "op amp" and run the sim, the microphone turns my voice into a chipmunk sound and is very choppy. It is only when no components are placed other than…

  19. Allow switches to not reset the simulation.

This may be a me issue rather than a program issue, but I can’t seem to design a circuit in such a way that double clicking the switch to open or close it rests all the components in the circuit to their initial state. I have a PSU circuit with a switch for the outlets and a separate switch for the transformers and capacitor blanks (standby vs hard off). It would be nice to be able to test them to look for current behaviors without starting from a zero state.
