Linked/connected switches
Some switches have more than a couple connections, and not all in one place on the schematic. Walkie talkies, for example.
How about an option for the switches where you can link them, so they all get thrown when one gets pressed. Name them SW1a, SW1b and so forth.

Control Panel Elements
Include a control panel window to which you add control elements eg dial, slider, switch. These elements can then be linked to parameter values in circuit. For example a slider could control the frequency of a voltage source, a dial could change the value of an analogue component. Of course we can change values already but having a separate window where values can be tweaked would be useful

Could you add frequency as an element in expressions
Could you add frequency as an element in expressions. It would be useful in AF and RF circuits. Tie it to the AC source frequency so that expression values are updated on adjustment. I find iCircuit an exceptional tool on IOS!
Example
ElementName.ValueName
as for AC source
VIN.Vd (AC source voltage)
VIN.f ( AC source frequency)1 vote -

Be able to set phase from 0 to 360?
Would it be possible to be able to set phase to from 0 to 360 degrees? At the moment, we can only from 0 to 180. And,, A multi phase AC motor, say from one to three phases? Great App, thank you.

A variant of the supply rail which is just a named net connector
A way to connect multiple points without explicit wires, but named connections to “nodes”. A floating circuit can’t use ground... It does have to get a reference potential, but floating gate drivers, or isolated i2c. These need a “chassis connection” that is not ground. Generalizing this notion to a named node, looks like a supply bus.

Enable 'Preferences' to allow defaults for various attributes
‘Preferences’ appears to be inactive.
Things like ‘paper’ colour, grid and size could very usefully be set in Preferences

Allow 'GAUGE' to display meter-style functionality
The Circuit > Gauge option displays an instantaneous value.
This is almost useless in e.g. AC circuits.
It would be great if this had options like a true meter to be e.g. TRUE RMS, AVGE, MAX/MIN HOLD

Ensure component names don't interfere with circuit lines
Reversing the orientation of a transistor which has a name can result in the base line being overwritten by the name.
The component name should also flip with the device orientation - e.g. in this example to keep the name on the E-C side.

Address file corruption in Mac - older models
Icircuit worked pretty solidly for a few years. Suddenly, on all machines except my newest (2017 Air, Catalina and forward) works properly. All my other laptops immediately corrupt upon opening and simulating. If i save, the corruption is saved; so it is the sim file (data).
I have sent the file via email.
Thank you

1/4 inch 1/8th inch TRS & XLR m\f connections
Input and output use o all three types both male and female input output connections. Also the use of a (QC) quick connect male and female could make further use of the software for full circuit layouts.

Could not Launch iCircuit
When I try to open iCircuit on Mac OS X, I get a prompt telling me that my computer cannot find the executable ‘iCircuit.exe.’ I found a solution previously, but I cannot find it anymore. Anyone know the fix? Thanks!

Graph functional effect of changing parameters: e.g. change of resistance -> change of current
Currently, the graph visualizes measured parameters in the circuit.
For educational purposes it would be great to learn about functional relationships between measures under change.
E.g. visually show that Ohm law is linear -- change of resistance causes a proportional change in current.
I believe that such an addition can greatly enhance the educational experience by allowing to quickly view how alternative circuits relate

a complaint
icircuits has a few flaws, the n chanel and the p chanel jfet transistor s symbols laks a gate a drain and a source and its not acurate, try this experiment pleas 5vdc as a source of power, conect drain lead of the n chanel jfet to + of the 5v power source and the source lead to to the - of the 5v power supply and short the gate to the - of the power source and click on of the simulated wire and see the results its lik theirs no short cuit at all between the gat and the source,i tryed…

Theme selection is neither global nor circuit persistent setting
Theme selection is not saved in circuit document, despite being indicated as a document change when switching. Documents are always loaded with "white" theme on macOS.
I'd still prefer theme to be global (user) persistent setting, not circuit setting, e.g. switchable by View > Theme to maintain content vs presentation separation.1 vote
